My machine embroidery adventure starts!!!
I have a brand new digitizer program and a second hand old small Janome machine. Not perfect, but I'll be even happier one day when I get a proper modern machine, if this hobby will last :-)
I wanted to embroider mainly T-Shirts, but I find it hard to do in a good quality. I must get the hang of the right stabilizer and hooping. They said that woven fabrics are easier to start with, so I did this project.
I embroidered with vlieselin web under the fabric in my hoop. After embroidery, I cut all the threads and the stabilizer. Once the thread got cut in the middle of work, but beside of this, everything went fine. Oh, and I must not steam the piece after embroidery, the stabilizer shrinks as hell!
