Seam Lace Idea

I decided to remake my old green odd gress. I really don't like how it looks. It's a bit wider than it should be and too short. I thought to lenghten it with some seam lace.

And here was born the idea. After finishing the emboidery work on the pocket I started to miss it. I'd like to make the seam lace myself. I've chosen a pattern from the pages In Prayse Of The Needle , that I like a lot. It will be a leaf pattern.

I cut a piece of duvetine that I had left from sewing my sister's black dress.

I would also place it onto the bodice, so I'll be able to shorten it on edges and fit the whole costume.
