This is the back and shoulder part.
I machine-gathered the fabric and pinned. You may notice the little figure eight around the edge pins. They hold the thread and can be easily removed. Genial, I saw it in a book:-)
One gathering line is in the center back, one above each boob in the front..
I serged the new seam and added a line of stitches to 'iron' it. I made a pattern of the armhole on a paper and transferred it to the fabric.
